Company History

Santini Foods, Inc. was founded in 1987. Since that time the company has been animated by a simple, straightforward vision - bring the best tasting, highest quality foods to our customers at the lowest possible price.

Originally, Santini Foods focused on importing food products from Italy and the Far East to fill the growing consumer desire for authentic ethnic foods. Some of our original product offerings included pasta, olive oil, pestos, marinated artichokes, and the first dolphin safe Tongol tuna.

In 1994, the company took a major step forward by acquiring a 100,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility located on 6 acres of land in San Lorenzo, California. This modern, multi-faceted facility positioned Santini Foods for future growth on a number of different product fronts including sweetened condensed milk, chocolate & pancake syrups, and olive oil.

Sweetened condensed milk is produced under the Santini brand as well as a wide range of private labels. Santini produces full cream, skim and filled sweetened condensed milks in a range of sizes from 14 ounce cans to 600 pound tote bins.

Santini co-packs dark chocolate, white chocolate and caramel syrups in a variety of sizes from 16 ounce consumer sizes to 128 ounce containers for the foodservice trade. In 2006 we will be installing new machinery to boost our production capability. Our R & D department is available to help in product formulation.

In 2001, Santini installed a state-of-the-art  full shrink sleeve packaging line which allows us to offer our customers the many benefits of high visibility labels with 360 degrees of selling space.

Santini imports bulk extra virgin olive oil from Italy and repackages it for sale in consumer size containers. Our customers include several major retail chains. In addition to extra virgin olive oil, we also pack blended oils in sizes ranging from 17 ounce bottles to 3-liter tins.

In 2002, Santini Foods entered the growing organic foods category with the introduction of several lines of organic Italian foods including pasta, pasta sauce, pesto, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

In 2003, we introduced organic sweetened condensed milk. We are the only company offering regular and organic sweetened condensed milk in addition to evaporated milk.

In 2004, Santini introduced the first full line of organic syrups. Our unique line includes Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, Apricot, Honey Pecan and Maple flavors. These products are made with organic grape juice concentrate, not corn syrup, and they are packed in convenient squeezable plastic bottles with appetite appealing graphics
